Mr. Bakary SAMBE is director of the Timbuktu Institute-African Center for Peace Studies (Dakar, Niamey). The founder of the Observatory for Radicalisms and Religious Conflicts in Africa, Sambe is research professor at the Gaston Berger University (Saint-Louis, Senegal). His present works focus on endogenous strategies, cross-border dynamics and the experimentation of agile approaches in crisis zones. An expert for the United Nations, European and African Unions, he has inter alia formulated and conducted the advocacy for establishing the regional cell for the prevention of radicalization under the SahelG5 (CELLRAD), coached national strategies’ drafting processes in Niger, Burkina Faso and the Central African Republic and produced the first guidelines on resilience best practice
