« Filmmakers without Borders » is a non profit organization which draws on cinema, audiovisual and multimedia to develop social, cultural and educational activities throughout the world. It carries out projects aiming at fostering social ties and the expression of individuals, training social organizations in video techniques to help them in their educational, memorial or communication efforts, offering children and young people image education, creating video workshops in so-called disadvantaged workshops and coaching the production of short films by vulnerable groups. Through these actions, “Filmmakers without borders” are facilitating artistic expression, creativity, self-esteem, also by producing and screening documentaries in order to sensitize audiences to social action related topics.
